There is a 325-horsepower twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 in the Fusion Sport model that generates 350 lb-ft of torque. This brand new choice comes standard with all-wheel drive, and is more powerful than larger V-6 engines that are found in competitor's vehicles. The base motor remains a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that gets 178 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission. There is also a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbo four cylinder that is mated to the same automatic transmission as the base level motor choice. The 1.5-liter engine comes with Start-Stop system as standard. Another choice is the 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo four cylinder that gets 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. |
